Jimmy Stef
Jimmy Stef has a doctorate in sociology and is a post-doctoral fellow at the Université Côte d’Azur, France. His PhD thesis was funded by the CNRS and it focuses on higher education and the phenomenon of the internationalisation of higher education in Europe and South-East Asia.
Jimmy Stef has a doctorate in sociology and is a post-doctoral fellow at the Université Côte d’Azur, France. His PhD thesis was funded by the CNRS and it focuses on higher education and the phenomenon of the internationalisation of higher education in Europe and South-East Asia. It also examines institutional and governmental strategies in terms of university models and the formation of national and international elites. He is actually a member of two French research laboratories: the Research Unit on Migrations and Societies (URMIS, France) and the Research Institute on Contemporary South-East Asia (IRASEC based in Bangkok, Thailand).
