CGHE summer school encourages international collaboration
Last month CGHE held its first summer school designed to support learning and collaboration among the Centre’s early career researchers.
The summer school took place at the UCL Institute of Education and reflected CGHE’s international character, with researchers from all over the world coming to London to participate in the week-long schedule of events.
The school provided a forum to share ideas on emergent issues such as Brexit, as well as a chance to discuss methodology and broader research in higher education.
Researchers – who came from the University of Cape Town in South Africa, Hiroshima University in Japan, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China, Lingnan University in Hong Kong, Leiden University in the Netherlands, Dublin Institute of Technology in Ireland and the UCL Institute of Education in the UK – praised the networking and collaboration opportunities.
