‘Online Learning Futures’ Book Launch and Discussion
Event Materials
This event is now archived and we are pleased to provide the following event media and assets, along with the original event overview.
This is an invitation to join us at the launch of a new book in the CGHE Bloomsbury Higher Education Series, Online Learning Futures : An Evidence Based Vision for Global Professional Collaboration on Sustainability
The book reports on research in two ESRC research centres, the Centre for Global Higher Education, hosted by the University of Oxford Department of Education and UCL Institute of Education, and the RELIEF Centre at the UCL Institute for Global Prosperity.
Following the presentations, the discussion will be extended to the audience in the room and online, including audience responses to questions the book raises, e.g.:
How would you prioritise the design quality issues for moving some teaching and learning online?
What do you consider to be the most important new knowledge you developed during the pandemic about teaching with technology?
For your educational context, who should have the responsibility for remodelling the costs of (a) teaching, or (b) professional services to help your institution move to more blended and online learning?
Copies of the book will be available for sale and for inspection, with digital links available online.
