Dr Natia Sopromadze

Natia Sopromadze is a Postdoctoral Research Officer on CGHE Project 9, ‘Mapping supranational higher education space’.

Natia is interested in how higher education transformations occur – from adapting global policies to local contexts, all the way to rethinking university leadership, effective teacher education, inclusive curriculum and future learning spaces. She has a keen interest in research methodology, particularly narrative, visual, digital and mixed methods at the intersection of disciplines.

Natia was previously an Early Career Fellow at the University of Warwick, where she obtained her PhD in Education and MA in Educational Leadership and Innovation as a Chevening Scholar.

Natia is a member of the Decolonising Science Research Team at the University of Wolverhampton and currently serves as a Co-Chair of the Research Staff Forum in the Oxford Department of Education.
