We are delighted to announce the upcoming symposium featuring experts and emerging scholars in higher education, science education, engineering education and interdisciplinary education. It is a unique opportunity to connect with colleagues beyond our usual silos.

The golden thread is a large multi country longitudinal project following students through their chemistry and chemical engineering degrees across six institutions in three countries. The project was led by renown higher education scholar Paul Ashwin with Mags Blackie, Jenni Case, Jan McArthur, Nicole Pitterson, Renee Smit, Ashish Agrawal, Kayleigh Rosewell, Alaa Abdalla and Benjamin Goldschneider.

Speakers have been asked to talk about their own research in relation to one of the papers that has already been published out of this project.
