Kiyomi is a Research Associate at Research Institute for Higher Education, Hiroshima University.
After having served as a journalist at Japan Broadcasting Corporation, he worked in an administration role at International Exchange Center of Aoyama Gakuin University (2005-10) and Institutional Research and Planning Section of Tokyo International University (2011-16).
His primary research interests lie in the development of English-taught degree programs at Japanese universities, and its impact on institutional management.
